Day Atelier is an interior design studio created by Juliana Huff de leon and Kat Zuniga Garza in San Antonio, Texas. We create elegant yet bold interiors that share a home for the new and the old. Following an eclectic fashion, we maintain a sense of timelessness that always feels fresh and comfortable.
The Day Atelier story starts back when the partnership was only a friendship started in an undergraduate interior design studio - fueled by a joint obsession for fashion and some friendly competition. Together Juliana and Kat bring years of experience across the interior design industry working on projects of all scales from new build luxury residential to commercial office buildings.

Juliana Huff de leon
Juliana Huff de Leon whose devotion to allurement and craft is at the core of her practice. She creates reinvited contemporary interiors with character and gumption. Each project like an artful and collected treasure chest, she strives to sing a song about the people who inhabit the homes she designs. De Leon, a fearless colorist, brings a holistic approach to spaces with her innate ability to layer vibrant hues, pattern, and texture in ways that feel fresh and unexpected.Having worked in luxury residential for years, eyes of an artist and the mind of an architect, she laminates projects with a balanced measure of function and form while pulling inspiration from vintage to modern fashion, art and history. Huff- de Leon is the daughter of Texas architect father, and a multi-faceted creative mother. Having two gifted leaders, Juliana has a natural ability to artfully blend the courageous and authentic.Juliana obtained her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio and is currently studying for the NCIDQ exam.
Kat Zuniga Garza, RID NCIDQ
Kat Zuniga Garza approaches every project as an opportunity to create excitement in the built environment. Her creative attitude and focus on fostering a sense of place has led to her ability to design across practice areas with prestigious interior design and architecture firms before starting Day Atelier with Juliana. With experience in hospitality, workplace, and community projects, Kat enjoys developing concepts, collaborating and delivering solutions with the intention of evoking emotional and physical connections between users and their spaces. These traits combined with a relentless pursuit of great design, inform every project Kat works on, regardless of size or scope. Kat is a San Antonio transplant, born and raised in El Paso, TX. Alongside her studio practice, Kat is an educator and lifelong learner. She has taught at The University of Texas at San Antonio and has participated in mentorship programs with UTSA, IIDA, and ULI. She received her academic training in interior design and is a licensed Interior Designer in the state of Texas.
